Paris, 2016.

bobbin & tricot was born from a simple decision: to do less, and do it better.

We chose to work exclusively with cashmere, giving existing fibres a new life through regenerated yarn.

Behind the collections is Valérie Toyomura-Provot, our Franco-Japanese Creative Director. Her dual heritage naturally influences the way she works: precision, simplicity and an instinct for things made to last.

We create permanent pieces rather than seasonal collections. Quiet essentials for babies, children, adults and the home, designed to be worn, loved and passed on.

Personalization came naturally. Words and initials are embroidered by hand in our Paris atelier, turning each piece into something personal.

Ten years on, our idea remains the same: fewer things, thoughtfully made, for longer.
